- I took a few computer programming classes in high school, and 1 FORTRAN class
- in college. I taught myself C while working for a health insurance company, and
- I just got a job for a company as a trainee programmer. So, there are jobs out
- there for the non-traditional career path, but keep in mind that the company that
- just hired me wants me to learn ALGOL-68 (of all things) to maintain existing code,
- so your options may be limited. Good luck!
